There have been a lot of talking about the protests in the Muslim world that were 'sparked' by an anti-Islam film that was put on the internet. You can read a pretty good article that shows the time tables of the events here: http://www.voanews.com/content/muslims-protest-anti-islam-film/1509273.html.
The real question is, though, was it really the video that inspired these protests or is it catching the fallout? With the Freedom of Speech act that is part of the American way, is it right to censor videos like this? If so, are the filmmaker(s) to be held accountable?
Twitchy.com has this article: http://twitchy.com/2012/09/13/bette-midler-wants-anti-muslim-filmmaker-charged-with-murder/ that shows that celebrity, Bette Midler wants the filmmaker charger with murder. Isn't that a tad extreme? Shouldn't Michael Moore be tried with conspiracy and or treason by that standard then?
This might be a good topic at work or at the dinner table. Let me know how this goes for you.
