Pixel Pleasure Edition 1

I'm not really a hardcore gamer. Honestly, my PS2 is the most recent system I own and it is collecting dust. We're going to be looking for someone to take this section over as soon as possible so stay tuned! ;)

Coffee Break Talk: Freedom of Speech?

There have been a lot of talking about the protests in the Muslim world that were 'sparked' by an anti-Islam film that was put on the internet. You can read a pretty good article that shows the time tables of the events here: http://www.voanews.com/content/muslims-protest-anti-islam-film/1509273.html.

The real question is, though, was it really the video that inspired these protests or is it catching the fallout? With the Freedom of Speech act that is part of the American way, is it right to censor videos like this? If so, are the filmmaker(s) to be held accountable?

Twitchy.com has this article: http://twitchy.com/2012/09/13/bette-midler-wants-anti-muslim-filmmaker-charged-with-murder/ that shows that celebrity, Bette Midler wants the filmmaker charger with murder. Isn't that a tad extreme? Shouldn't Michael Moore be tried with conspiracy and or treason by that standard then?

This might be a good topic at work or at the dinner table. Let me know how this goes for you.

Software Suggestions: PaintSupreme

I really don't often get involved with picture manipulation programs on my Dell because I am more of a Mac guy but in this case, I can't pass up recommending PaintSupreme. It reminds me of the older Adobe Photoshop programs that I loved without those bells and whistles I don't need.

I'm telling you to go here: http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/paintsupreme/ and give this program a try for free. It's normally $20 but with this site, you can legally get it free today!
